A strange looking little app for the iPad claiming it’ll bring you closer to Beijing Opera. I didn’t know that Beijing Opera and I had any issues, but I don’t want to take that chance so I’m installing this tonight. It’s a little hard to decipher the description of the app:

Beijing opera types of facial makeup in operas, is a special feature of a national cosmetic. As each historical figure or a certain type of person has an approximate spectral type, like sing, play music to the music, so called “types of facial makeup in operas”. On the types of facial makeup in operas sources, the general view is from mask.

But what good is life if you don’t take a chance now and again on playing music to the music?

Babel Rising

Stupid humans are trying to build a tower to get closer to God – aka you – who do they think they are, anyway? Crush ’em. Use your God powers to wreck their efforts. Chop Chop Tennis HD

Device: iPad
Genre: .. tennis
Price: FREE (originally $4.99)

Virtua Tennis was one of my favourite games for the DreamCast, and Chop Chop Tennis is an oddly named clone of that game. I have this for the iPhone, but will be installing it for the iPad tonight – it’s a solid tennis game with cute, big-headed characters. I’m especially interested in the training mini-games; those were my favourite part of Virtua Tennis. Loved the bowling. Played it for hours. Get this app now while it’s free!
